why are some memories more vivid than others?
the good and the bad are often what prevail and everything in between remains lost and forgotten somewhere just floating around... floating till its magnitude dawns and hits us in the face one day when we least expect it. like playing on a playground one day when you were little. i'm sure a memory like that doesn't come up much in someone's world, but there are times when that minute moment becomes inevitably significant. it's subtle. a sense of subtlety that over-powers the obvious. so i guess in conclusion the good and bad that are vivid in some way really are just insignificant memories. they merely serve as melodrama that keeps life moving... those subtle memories though, that's where the real substance of the plot is. there are the good and bad and then there's the in-between that define who we are.
... i have so much on my mind today.
Shameless ranting.

I am dumbfounded by your blog, i love it.
memories,
such a delicate subject.
Everyone has memories, but they're not the same. Two people can be presented with the same flashing object, at the same time, in the same room, under identical conditions. But they can never remember it exactly how it was at that exact moment, neither will their memories be the same; in some ways yes, but not exactly the same.
Maybe Bishop Berkeley was right about the whole thing; he said that the only things that exist are minds and ideas in minds. Everything else is perceived into existence.
maybe the memories that serve us are the memories that we perceive, that we choose to remember for one reason or another and all the other memories are not significant at the time because we do not receive them to be significant until something, whether it be an image or experience or moment or anything, triggers our minds into remembering a perceived memory.
hmmm...that sounds confusing, even to me, where the hell do i come up with this stuff? hahaha
"Tricky, memories are..mmm"
^ Yoda! get it? :]
i was just talking to ace about selective "so &so" memory &whatnot
jenny, i think you should be in cat because my cat essays go a lot like this.
what is reality?
is there such a thing?
&if there is no reality
is there truth?
the cat discussion leader led me to believe that even mathematical truth does not exist due to fractals
but i like to believe that truth does exist
somehow
or then again,
are we just fooling ourselves into a false sense of security?
*sigh*
i have so much on my mind too.
lets talk.
its been ages.
jenny! whats you gmail?!
we seriously need more people online
so we can group chat!
I read this when you first wrote it, and I wanted to comment... just... I had nothing more to say than, "I feel that." Haha. ^^;
Even with time passing by, I still have nothing more to say, but I just thought you should know that...
Well, I liked reading this. Haha.
Alright... Bye, Jenny... ^^;
